Interactive Mulitmedia

Throughout this semester, Ive focused on the interactiveness with Human and 3D objects in a 3D enviroment. I worked with programs such as Touch Designer, Unity, and VR. My work explores the blank space, a space that seems endless and allows the players to stay in the scene. Many of my works explore the ideas of nostalgia, memories, and play. This allowed for players to create their own ideas of my work, allowing for play and wonder. Enjoy all the work from my final semester of college.

Deer on the TV

Software:

Touch Designer, Photoshop

Description:

Deer on the TV - This was my first assignment when it came to playing with interactiveness. The user is able to move the look of the tv, ecouraging displacement and illusion within the deer. They are slowed down to face eachother, and the user can control how to view the deer and where they run.

Dream Arcade

Software:

Blender, Unity, C#

Description:

Arcade - This sketch goes through a small arcade function that I made with a claw machine. This was my first time fully messing with C# outside of raycasting. The claw is functionable by arrow keys, with music playing as well. You cannot pick up the items with the claw, but you can pick them up yourself. This was my first project when messing with UI, and it taught me more on how unity works and how to create an interaction between the player and the game. Watch the video for more information on how it worked

Clippy is here to help

Software:

HTML, CSS, JS

Clippy is here to help - This assignment was my most fun assignment ive done. I was able to combine my art skills with my computer skills. This website is a fake Windows desktop, where the user is able to click on the icons. All the icons work, including calculator. The user can open different tabs. and once enough tabs are open, clippy comes in to help! You must solve the hangman puzzle for him to help you out.

3D Portfolio

Software:

Three.js, HTML, CSS, JS

Description:

3D Portfolio - This was my final project for the class which featured a 3D portfolio of models and videos that I have completed throughout my college career. I wanted to challenge myself by using three.js and I was able to create an interactive experience that allows the user to customize the music, watch my videos, or just play around the island. The final product of this project is something I am proud in as I did not understand three.js going into this assignment but now I feel confident enough to explore this system more.
