Video Art

My work this semester explored themes of nostalgia and personal experience through moving image. I experimented with different recording methods, from professional cameras to my iPhone, using these variations to develop my visual style and better understand how image quality and camerawork can shape emotional tone. I’m particularly interested in how resolution, texture, and composition can influence the feeling of nostalgia and the way memories are perceived. Across my projects, I often return to ideas of isolation, memory, and personal reflection. I enjoy working with animation and moving image to create immersive experiences that feel both familiar and slightly distant, allowing space for viewers to connect their own experiences to the work.
